Hi all,
It has been a while since the last update for the group. I apologize for that given that there has been a lot going on with the group and there has been so many changes lately. I have also been talking with new members on the side to help the group in other ways. Its just a matter of time before it really all falls into place. WIth that said, we are always looking for more people who are willing to help on a constant bases. Even though I keep LCGH with an open door policy, its hard to keep things constant. Im sure you long time members know that all too well. Thank you for still being here. But if you know anyone who is interested in a paranormal group and wants to lend a hand, please have them contact me here or at lakecountyghosthunters@yahoo.com We are looking for just about anything. If you know your tech, film, history, writing, websites, internet radio and even Research, we need you!
As I stated before, being part of the yahoo groups is like being a real member. What you put into it is what your going to get out of it. One of the reasons being is that in order for us to even comprehend these phenomenon, we all should be on the same page, sharing info, working together. I also try to empower the individuals dealing with these matters. Lets just say too many Para-Peeps are put on pedestals and that shouldn’t be the case. They don’t have the right answer and nor do I. I may have started this group so many odd years ago or even been on a few too many house calls and graveyard shifts. Doesn’t mean I know the answer, well maybe part of it.
We all have part of it actually. We just have to look harder. And it may just be something completely different when we find it. Thats why I don’t deal with Definites in this Field. And that is what separates us from the rest.
Now on to the Updates!
Back in April, a few members and I were lucky enough to get invited to an Overnight at Manteno State Hospital. We were going to go with State Line Paranormal but it had abruptly cancelled do to legal issues with the City. They will be opening doors in another Month or 2, hopefully. When that day comes, I will post it here and anyone interested in going will have first dibs with the group. That goes for any event. Actually, anyone interested in being a “Case Manager”?
May 23rd, today or tomorrow depending on when you read this, James and I will be going to Waverly Hills for the First time. This will also be my first time in Kentucky as well. Should be a fun time even though they are calling thunderstorms. Should make it creepy as well. We will have tons of photos and footage. I may be able to upload some vids via youtube. Probably from my phone though. Mostly for some on the spot stuff. We will be going with a couple of groups. Our friend and Colleague, Doug Oram had invited us to join him back when we went to The Oshkosh Paranormal Conference. We still have footage and things to talk about on that event as well. We’ve been slacking. I will keep mostly in touch through twitter and or facebook. We dont have a facebook page like all the other cool groups. We do have a group page. Soon there will be a facebook page once we get the website updated and moving.

If you’re not following us on twitter here is something you missed-
Most famed haunted places do not allow Quija Boards and Seances. Wouldn’t the methods of collecting EVPs be considered a Seance?
