About Us

LAKE COUNTY GHOST HUNTERS is an organization based in North Eastern Illinois, created in 2002 on Yahoo Groups as an open forum for those who are interested in expanding their understanding and perspective of the paranormal subject. We incorporate many individual theories and techniques, such as psychology and metaphysics, in our approach to research and attempt to use these ideas in conjunction with one another in the hopes of forming a more cohesive understanding of the situation at hand. As a collective, we do our best to approach all claims with a rounded perspective and an open mind. We stress that we are not experts, but we do believe that research in theoretical physics and related subjects should have its foundation in the need to better understand that which is dubbed “the unknown”.
